  The food was out of this world with very attentive service. May need to improve booking system on line with auto confirmation that table is available or not as the case may be. Location and decor perfect. Don't go if you are on a budget but in our view the price reflected the quality. Julie

  We were lucky to get a cancelation booking at short notice on a Saturday evening, seeing that this place comes highly recommended. Our waiter (the red faced bearded man) was very friendly, attentive but not overly intrusive throughout the meal. My partner and I both enjoyed two courses from the menu, a bottle of wine, two brandies to finish and we shared a desert – grand total of £107 including service. The food was very fresh and well presented and the restaurant has a lovely atmosphere. However, I will say I felt that the curried crab soup had too many flavours (spices) going on so you couldn’t really taste any crab. If that's intended, fair enough, it's probably just not for me. If you are staying in town it’s a (£10) short taxi ride away as its located just outside the town centre. If you can get a table, its worth a visit.
